From small paintings to installations, from theater work to education, the creative process
feeds itself and provides inspiration in a variety of forms.
From nonobjective to realism, color to light, shape to movement, the desire to paint
beckons me to create while my love of people and nature provide the source of my inspiration.
Having graduated from the Boston Museum School, I initially focused on the
New York art scene until time and motherhood redirected my energies. After a hiatus from
my art to raise a family and teach, often turning creative energies towards community involvements,
I have returned to my own art knowing in my heart that it shall be my continued life’s work.
Eluding being pegged for I am not easily defined, neither is my art. If given the time and a
brush large enough I would at once be mesmerized by and simultaneously paint the world,
understanding and redefining my moment in it. Such is the creative process.
